The Blackthorn is Salsa's All-Mountain 29er mountain bike. This is the bike for you if you plan on hitting steep downhills, gnarly singletrack, or loose surfaces. 140mm of rear suspension combined with 160mm of front suspension makes for controlled downhill lines. The Split Pivot rear suspension makes pedaling and small bump compliance excellent.
